As no two days caring for babies, toddlers and children are the same, I have detailed, as closely as I can, an example of our day. It is very flexible and varies depending upon the children being minded and what they would like to do (within reason!), along with the weather.

Early morning - 08h30  Arrivals, breakfast and independent play.

h30  School and pre-school drop-off (if needed).

h15 - 11h30  Outing to park, seaside, toddler group or shops, or an activity appropriate to the season following the child's interests including painting, messy play, play-dough, creative play and cooking, etc.

h30  School and pre-school pick-up (if needed).

h15 - 13h00  Lunch.

h00 - 14h20  Quiet or relax time - naps for children who need them, reading aloud, including nursery rhymes, sensory play such as treasure baskets.

h20 - 15h30  School and pre-school pick-up (if needed).

h30 - 16h45  Independent play indoors, or out in the garden (weather permitting). Occasionally we may have a more structured activity to follow a child's own interests.

h45 - 17h30  Dinner.

h30  onwards  Quiet and wind down play, including listening to relaxing music, watching TV or videos, until home time.
